Every song that I have been especially drawn to during the pandemic can be sorted through the dichotomy of being ON/OFFLINE. The pandemic has both made the virtual world our everyday reality and given us the opportunity to connect with our local environments. These are songs with themes of our natural world and songs that tap into the hyperreal. This playlist is about the tug of war between wanting to drop off the face of the earth and run away to the woods and embracing internet culture to the fullest.
