Hello from the new Dean of Residence and Student Life
Steve Masse is an accomplished student life administrator. The previous Assistant Dean at U of T’s largest college, Woodsworth, Steve brings his charismatic leadership and his two pups, Beau and Lulu, to the Office of Student Life.
My name is Steve Masse and I have the honour and privilege of being your new Dean of Students. I’m thrilled to be among one of the first people to welcome you to Innis College – a truly fantastic place to learn, connect, and grow!
As the Dean, I’m responsible for overseeing all student life activities at the College, as well as managing the residence operation. These activities include a wide array of orientation, mentorship, leadership, skills, and community outreach programs designed to help you meet new friends, learn something new, and have some fun outside of the classroom!
My team and I are also available to you for support at any point throughout your time on campus. We know the university is a big place and you may not always know where to turn. Make our office your first stop and let us help you explore your options and find the best way forward.
Throughout the coming weeks and months, I’d like to encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities at the College to get involved. Whether that be as an ICSS or IRC rep, mentor/mentee, writer for The Herald, or member of a club, getting involved is one of the best ways to find community on campus.
As a new member of the College community myself, I am truly looking forward to getting to know you as the year unfolds. My office is located on the main floor of the residence and I’d love for you to pop by and say hello! I can promise you hot coffee/tea and, if you’re lucky, maybe even a visit with my pups, Beau and Lulu.
Once again, welcome to Innis! We’re so happy you’re here.
